Updates are part of security protection for windows and if you stop running update, your PC will become vulnerable and anti-malware software couldn't help much. If you are using older build of Windows 10, it will become out of support and this is dangerous, because you won't get new updates. Therefore, it is better to upgrade to the latest build. It's been 11 days and you haven't replied! There is no reason why this question hasn't been answered, it's not going to go away!

Every question asked by other people so far regarding this matter has been met with 'Well, you need updates' or 'Security is essential, malware bytes can't help you after' or some other like minded spiel. It's pure deflection, answer the question. It's really simple, i'll break it down I did not install Windows Upgrade Assistant, it installed itself. I go into task scheduler and delete the files that it installs itself and it still does it. Saying 'It's just the way it is' quite frankly isn't good enough. Let me be perfectly clear.
